Frank Wang

Ph.D. P.Eng., Senior Reactor Analysis Engineer

Frank Wang is parent of children attending both private and public schools. He will share his observations of the differences between the public and private schools in how they motivate students, provide differentiated education, and connect students with their alumni and the world. He will also discuss how parents can play a role in both public and private school systems.

Frank grew up in China and attended Xi’An Jiaotong University for his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in 2006, and specialized in Robotics, Dynamics and Control. He has been working in the aerospace and nuclear industry and published over 50 academic papers in academic journals and leading international conferences. He and his wife are raising their three young children in the city of Toronto. Frank enjoys passion poetry and prose writing in his spare time and actively promotes social media education and parenting education in the Chinese Canadian community.
