The newly founded CPAC Engineering Division will host its first seminar on Sunday, March 04, 2018 on the unique aspects of municipal engineering and environment industry, including the availability of job opportunities. The presentation will cover the following areas:

• Overview of the municipal and environment industry engineering in Ontario
• Related fields such as municipal water/wastewater engineering, transportation, environmental protection, water resources, and land development (subdivision)
• Cross-sectorial roles and occupation classification
• Job opportunities and requirements on technical skills, professional qualifications and certification

Our speaker is Ronnie Wang, Director of Technical Services of the EIS group. Ronnie has over 30 years of extensive engineering experience. He has completed over 90 projects related to municipal and industrial water/wastewater engineering, such as wastewater treatment plants, sewage collection systems (comprising of sewers and pumping stations), biosolids management, storm water management, and water supply (including water intake works, water distribution network, pumping stations and water treatment plants). Ronnie also acted as a principal consultant on numerous international projects organized and funded by the KfW Development Bank and Asia Development Bank.
