Young professionals have the opportunity to upgrade their seats

October 21, TORONTO – CPAC (formerly Chinese Professionals Association of Canada) and CPAC Foundation announced at a press conference today that they will be holding the CPAC Annual Gala on November 29, 2015, at Sheraton Parkway North Toronto in Richmond Hill.

“The CPAC Annual Gala is a fundraising event co-hosted by CPAC and the CPAC Foundation for the charitable work in three areas: Helping internationally trained professionals (ITPs) who are new to Canada obtain licenses, find jobs and integrate into society; promoting education and providing scholarships and bursaries to students who have demonstrated social responsibility as well as academic excellence; cultivating leadership among immigrant professionals,” introduced Ms. Margaret Yang, President of CPAC at the press conference.

It is a premier event in the community with over 500 guests and donors in attendance every year.  This is one of the largest annual events in GTA for the Chinese community, where CPAC members and supporters celebrate CPAC’s successes this year.

The highlight of the gala will be the presentation of the Professional Achievement Awards, which recognize the achievements of outstanding immigrant individuals who have overcome various barriers and made incredible strides in their professional careers.

CPAC has been providing a platform for young professionals from all fields to network, mingle, and learn from the best in business and society.  This year, sponsors will have a special opportunity to show support to CPAC and the young professionals’ community.  At each sponsor table, two tickets will be reserved for two young professionals that have won an “upgrade” for their tickets purchased before the “Early Bird” deadline of November 8th, 2015.  To enter the contest, these individuals simply have to comment on the Young Professionals Division of CPAC, Enlight’s WeChat group with their ticket number, and say why they would like to sit at a particular sponsor table.
